MV Dhamma Fellowship’s Vesak Day Celebration 2016

Vesak Day marks the birth, enlightenment and the passing of the Buddha. What could have been a more joyous day for commemoration of an auspicious occasion that is most befitting to honour the Lord Buddha?

MV Dhamma Fellowship celebrated the occasion with the traditional display of posters on a communal billboard showcasing its activities to the visitors who thronged the temple ground.

This year celebration marked an ambitious task of raising funds with sales of stickers, cards and car decals for charity. The entire costs of printing them were bored by committee members who graciously donated for a noble cause.

Each sticker and card was priced at $2 with proceeds going to Buddhist Welfare Centre while each car decal for windscreen at $5 for Mangala Vihara (Buddhist Temple).
